La Vie™ Vegan Mac & Cheese

Portions:

150 g La Vie™ lardons
500 g macaroni (or whatever pasta shape you fancy, tbh)
150 g grated vegan cheddar
200 ml plant-based cream
5 g of potato starch (or corn starch if you can't find it in your local supermarket)
Salt
Pepper
Turmeric

Step 1:
Cook the pasta, following the instructions on the packet. Set aside.

Step 2:
In a saucepan, mix the starch into the cream and add the turmeric. Heat to a simmer than add the plant-based cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3:
Fry the La Vie™ lardons in a hot pan with a dash of oil.
Leave them to cook for 5-6 minutes until they've got a glorious colour on them.


Step 4:
Once the cheese and cream have been fully incorporated, add the pasta and half of the lardons then mix altogether.
Serve and sprinkle with the remaining crispy lardons.
